Check Out Cliff Wallace’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cliff Wallace.

Hi Cliff, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Well, I’m a Houston native who spent a few years in Los Angeles before coming back home. I’m currently awaiting a heart transplant, my story has been featured on the local news and multiple media outlets. I’m both an actor and entrepreneur with a large Social Media following 55k IG @TheCliffTheGift, 211k on FB “Cliff The Gift Wallace, and 193k on TikTok @CliffTheGift. People gravitate towards me for my comedic videos, uplifting messages, women’s rights advocacy and transparency while dealing with a life and death condition as well as my philanthropy from my Thanksgiving Drive, Toy Drive and currently my Winter Drive for persons experiencing homelessness.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has been incredibly challenging. From break-up, to global pandemic, to my heart failure and needing to have an LVAD implanting to now waiting for a heart transplant. Through it all, I’ve never lost focus or faith and now I’m turning my pain and struggles into positivity. I hate the word influencer but I’ve learned to embrace it now, as that is what so many are calling me.

Unlike others, I’m using my newfound platform and fame not only for monetary gains but to actively give back and spread love and happiness.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I do everything. Mostly known for my acting ‘you may have seen me in a few small commercials, background in TV shows, music videos, my online skits, reels and even dabbling in stand-up comedy. Also for my transparency and openness to talk about heart failure, transplants, and my journey has led to me becoming a voice for those with serious medical conditions. I’m also an entrepreneur co-owner of one of Houstons most successful tattoo shops with my brother Micheal “Tapout Tattooing”, a successful Airbnb business and now the upcoming launch of my clothing brand Legit HTX.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Knowing that tomorrow isn’t promised my life’s purpose will be to positively impact as many as I can and to leave a lasting imprint on society, my communities and people.
