Hi Cameron, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Ever since my first experience with golf simulation, I’ve been hooked. The idea that you can play many courses and get a taste of what it’s like to be there, is incredible! I’ve always been an extreme fan of golf and being able to get a realistic simulation of an actual course is so cool. It’s a great way to get practice as well, because the launch monitors take a wide variety of measurements of the club and the ball. Being able to bring this to people is an amazing opportunity!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t necessarily been the smoothest of roads starting this business. Being a mobile golf simulator company, there are a lot of factors we have to consider to be able to optimize the experience. All that we can do is learn and grow from the challenges that we face.
As you know, we’re big fans of Traveling Tour Golf. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
The company offers a chance to change up any private or corporate event! We provide different session lengths so you can get anywhere from 2-4 hours to utilize the technology. If you don’t want a full rental but want to use the launch monitor by itself, we also do hourly rentals for that. There aren’t too many mobile golf simulators in our area and we have affordable offerings for what we can do. I’m most proud of the variety of occasions we can service and the many ways we can do so to meet our customers’ needs.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love Houston because it’s my home. I grew up here and love the culture and people. The only thing I could say I dislike is that sometimes it gets outrageously humid and that makes for a tough golf experience.
