Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabriel Carey.
Hi Gabriel, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I played football and ran track in high school. I joined the military after high school where I began a career in logistics. I had no idea at that moment I would have a career in logistics, which started my fashion design and creativity. After the military I went into corporate America mostly oil and gas companies. Every position I had I was required to dress in business attire, usually business casual on Fridays. I began to tailor my clothes, I started with slacks and tapering shirts then I advanced to blazers. My co-workers and many other always asked me where did I shop? Where did you get your clothes from? I told them I tailored it myself, so I started making alterations to my co-workers’ clothes and it began GC Fitted. This was back in 2012 fast forwarder to the present I’m now the owner and operator of GC Fitted.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, the road has not been smooth. I had many obstacles with non-responsive vendors, bad fabrics, manufacture timelines and many more. I learned over the years to research, plan and prepare. I now have a smooth system for all my custom garments and fabrics to provide the best customer service experience.

GC Fitted Collection is an apparel line for stylish men and women. We customize our clothing designs to the diverse personality of our customers.
Wear it to work, for a Sunday church service, or at a black-tie event.
Our wardrobe collection is available online and through.
I’m just a man with a passion. I served in the US Navy and then started my career in oil and gas. I work in supply chain management/procurement. I have an MBA degree from the Prairie View A&M University and my Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management from Phoenix University. I have 3 kids….2 boys and 1 girl. I’m also a little league football coach. I coached both my sons. I won 4 Super Bowls.
GC Fitted process:
1. Consultation: Involves detailed measurement and fabrics selection. I provide three tiers of fabrics Presidential, Premium and Signature. We will make the suit according to your induvial measurements process time 4 weeks
2. Fitting: Involves fitting custom suit and detailed measurement to ensure the perfect fit per your body type. Involves +/- 1/8 or ¼ cut taper and any additional alternations. I will make alternations according to fitting process time 1 week second payment due
3. Custom Suit: Involves delivery of dry cleaned pressed custom suit with garment bag. I will deliver the custom suit process time 1-3 days final payment due
What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory was going to family reunions where I seen distance family members. I have family in California, Louisiana and Texas. I enjoyed the food and comradery.
