Today we’d like to introduce you to Sheena Drummond.
Hi Sheena, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My business was birthed from a desire to provide support to others. My journey in life has had many challenges and I have always needed a support system that could not always be my family or friends. There are times life challenges needed a bit more.
When I look back on the entirety of my journey none of my support included many people who looked like me. I believe that representation matters and I am where I am today because I wanted to provide a safe space that highlights Black and other individuals and families of color seeking support with mental well-being.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Building my practice has had its tough moments; however, we would be here all day if that were broken down in too much detail. I will say that the tough moments have only solidified the need for me to continue moving forward through the obstacles that I have faced.

I provide virtual therapy services to those who reside in Texas. I specialize in working with perinatal/postpartum mental health concerns, veterans, couples, and families. I have an authentic, honest, welcoming approach to the work that I do. I feel that my approach and my experience in multiple areas of the social services field are what I am most proud of as it all is a part of how I connect and work with others in the community.
