Today we’d like to introduce you to Tomika Young.
Hi Tomika, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
In 2016, I quit my 9-5 without a savings or plan, never intended being an Entrepreneur. I’ve since built a multi-six figure Business on social media. I’ve coached thousands of business owners in 17 different countries, and I’ve taken 87 people to China to cut the middle man out. During the pandemic I opened Meek University in Vallejo ca, Although the doors are still open, I got a house built and relocated to Humble Tx, Next month will be my 1 year anniversary being here. I’ve hosted numerous classes and events in Houston prior to living here and just fell in love with everything about the city. I have a TV show that will be airing soon Meek’s Digital Millionaires where I’m helping business owners turn as many things in their businesses digital. The show will air on a free streaming platform called onstage plus that is compatible with all smart TVs and also available on Android and Apple devices.
On June 19th I’ll be hosting along with some of my business friends a business expo Houston meets Cali, it’ll be held at the humble Civic center.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Life is a struggle lol, it’s really a matter of how you react to situations. Some of my struggles came from me not delegating things early on. Another struggle is having to show up no matter what’s happening, how you’re feeling, no matter who comes and who goes.
As you know, we’re big fans of Meek University. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I specialize in helping Business Owners strategize their businesses. I’m known for helping people monetize social media, being very authentic and transparent which sets me apart from others. I am proud that I’ve sustained as a Business owner and really scaled and starting making six figures in 2019 and have continuously ever since, however, this will be my million dollar year.
Currently, I’m focusing on coaches and speakers helping them either find their niche as a speaker or helping newer coaches and speakers scale their businesses 10x
How do you think about luck?
I don’t believe in luck, God, prayer and putting in the work.
