Today we’d like to introduce you to Dana Chehab.
Dana, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
One of my favorite things to do is find beautiful objects, thing, etc. I love design, colors, things with a story. So, I created ‘danachee’ in hopes to share snippets of my life from my kids to my home to my travels.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It is definitely not a smooth road, and I’m not even close to other bloggers, but I’ve enjoyed the bit of publicity I’ve experienced with some brands. It’s fun, challenging, and exciting! I personally believe that if it is something you reallyyyy want to do, DO IT. Keep going till it brings out the best in you or, rather the best YOU. Find what makes you unique as a blogger and use that. Be relatable.
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
Besides blogging, I own an ecommerce business with my husband called purifyou. He started the business from scratch! We sell eco-friendly products such as glass water bottles, reusable veggie bags, reusable pacifier cases, etc. All of which were designed by the both of us– he worked on the practical aspects of the product, and I worked on the design. Most days we make a great team! I’m also a counselor at a school and private practice. Simply, I love helping others. I do one day hope to combine my passion for therapy and design into something unique.
Looking back on your childhood, what experiences do you feel played an important role in shaping the person you grew up to be?
Omg YES. My parents played a huge role in who I am right now. My mother taught me perseverance, patience, strength, and much more. My father taught me to never give up and always do my very best. I grew up both in the United States and Lebanon, and this also impacted my life tremendously. I took the best from both cultures and had numerous experiences with so many different kinds of personalities.
