Today we’d like to introduce you to Erin Lopez.
Hi Erin, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Of course! And thank you for interviewing me and sharing a bit of my story!
I am the wife, mother, and entrepreneur behind A Lopez Lifestyle.
My business today consists of being a speaker, best-selling author and leader in the direct sales industry, bringing my passion, humor and a great pair of shoes along with my career!
My background started in the fashion industry, turned mom, turned entrepreneur. Lots of twists and turns. All leading me to be exactly where I am supposed to be today.
I began working when I started modeling as a teenager, and my career took me to big cities, creating big dreams. Many years into my career, I was more intriqued in what was happening behind the camera in business side than being in front of the camera.
I decided at a young age I had big dreams with an even bigger vision. I moved to the closest big city after college and was determined to bring my business mind to the fashion industry. I worked my way up to the top of the fashion industry as a coveted modeling agent in Chicago before hanging up my four-inch heels to get married and raise a family.
I met my amazing husband, who brought me to the Midwest and became a “bonus” mom to a son while quickly adding two girls to our coveted crew. Like many moms, I couldn’t ignore the ‘itch’ to find something that would allow me to have the ability to raise a family and have a career.
I was able to marry my passion for fashion and family, starting my own high-profile wardrobe styling business, eventually leading to the industry of network marketing. My mission is to prove that it is possible to have time and financial freedom and now show others how to do the same.
Humbly speaking, I have built a multimillion-dollar business in just a few short years, graced countless stages telling my story and continue to build a business to help others have success and confidence, all while dressing chic (albeit mostly now she calls it “comfy chic”) while working from my home office or on the phone.
My mission is even bigger than ever before as I continue to teach others how to have it ‘all’ while working from anywhere! We live in a different world now and many have taken a step back, re-evaluated their situations and I want to be the one to help educate others on their choices.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Of course not! Is it ever? If anyone says yes … they are lying! Just kidding! Kind of!
We always see the destination, not the journey. I have failed countless times, I have been tired, and I have been defeated, but I have never lost my vision of pushing forward. One of my mentors told me early on in my career that it was always an uphill walk, never to think you made it to the top. There would be rocks, there would be slips, and there is always room to keep growing, moving and striving for more. I have tried countless businesses, I have made bad decisions and I have wanted to throw in the towel. But I take a ‘reset’, make the decision to take one more step and know that my best version of myself needs me. No regrets!
I am on the other side of that hurdle now but those slips, those rocks, they never go away – I think it’s the mindset and the armour that I have gained over the journey that has me prepared to handle it better!
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am an online entrepreneur. I teach others how to do the same, from stay at home moms to Executive level businessmen and women looking to take their life and career into their own hands. I consider myself a branding expert – teaching others how to brand themselves, not their business online. We live in the world of social media, if you or your business is not thriving on social media – truthfully, it is not growing!
I have had the 9 to 5 job where my hours and my finances were in the hands of others, and I chose to take the path of choosing my financial dreams, all while having the time and freedom to work from anywhere while raising a family.
My background in fashion gives a passion for heatlh and beauty – and my tagline is ‘helping others live a happy, healthy and wealthy life’. I promote the best of the best when it comes to collagen, skincare from the inside out and living clean of harsh toxins and chemicals. I found a line that fits both performance and clean living. My skin and my body have never felt or looked better in my 40s than ever before! Gettting older is for the birds, but my skincare tips and secrets give men and women their confidence back while taking the aging and aching out of the equation.
I now speak on stages, help other entrepreneurs brand themselves and became a co-author of a best-selling book with 30 other top entrepreneurs in the world – and about to release my next book helping others decide their future!
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
That I am living out the life that Jesus had planned for me! And my family!
