Hi Jasmine, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started House of Cree Hair Company with just a vision and prayer not knowing where it would take me just wanted to be able to make a difference in my family and in my life.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Actually… No, it hasn’t but I wouldn’t change the journey that God has given me for this business. I have moments everyday where I question myself on what have I gotten myself into but when l receive a text or a review of how much they love the products it over joys my heart knowing that someone loves House of Cree hair products just as much as I do!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
House of Cree Hair Company is not your typical business. I specialize in wig making and providing hair products that not only take care of your hair extensions but your natural hair as well. I believe that our hair is our crown and that we should always take care of it in the most delicate way! What I am most proud of is being able to see my grandmothers’ face when I bring home a new product to her! I think what sets House of Cree Hair Company is we don’t treat our customers like just a regular customer but like family!
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
When it comes to risk taking, I have never been the one to take a risk on anything but from my point of view, I would call it stepping out on faith and believing that what God has placed inside of you come to pass. I never thought in a million years I would be a business owner but God had other plans for my life! Stepping out on faith and that little box I call fear has completely changed my life!
