Today we’d like to introduce you to Shanise Pimentel.
Hi Shanise, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started exactly 12 years ago when I need it to work and do for my two kids at that time in life. I have always loved cooking and baking and suddenly, I started baking for friends and family and then the friend of the friend and so on.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Being a mompreneur is not an easy task you have to divide yourself to be there for the kids, the family, your business and everything that comes with it. I am a business run by me I do everything from baking, cleaning, website, answer emails, social media, answer the phone do the shopping. It involved lots of sleepless nights and many other things that at the end of the day, are very worth it when u realize you did it all by yourself.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a Cake Designer and Pastry Chef I am known for cakes made with passion and love I put every little but of myself into what I make for my customers. I bake Cakes, Cupcakes and cookies most of the time, but I also make pastries from back home that some people crave to have and support me ordering some. It’s always a good feeling when someone calls you year after year to be part of their celebrations.
What matters most to you? Why?
It matters to me to make others feel special and to make them remember that they can be happy with some simple things in life and that I am here to make their sweet cravings a reality. If I make something and u don’t like it it will never get to my customer no matter what. At the end, I am here for them to celebrate and share with friends and family.
