Hi Sherry, thanks for joining us today. We’d love you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my event planning and graphic design business in April 2004 to create a one-stop shop for all the event planning and graphic design services. I aspired to empower people and let them know that they don’t have to be afraid to hire a small business owner to safely handle their event planning and graphic design needs. I handle these services meticulously while offering affordable prices.
I’m sure you would say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far, I would say the journey hasn’t been a fairly smooth ride.
However, I’m eternally grateful for everything I have faced. It has affirmed my faith in God and made me understand that God blesses those that embrace and withstand difficult situations that comes their way. This has made me more resolute and stronger each day.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m the Owner, Graphic Designer, Event Planner, and Coordinator of Glitter & Shimmer Event Services, based in Humble, Texas. I’m a mother of two beautiful daughters and a holder of a Master’s degree in Child and Family Development.
Endowed with a vibrant passion for events, I handle every occasion with a graceful touch of perfection to ensure you have a glamorous event and a fantastic day. Having been in the event planning business for several years now, I wholly apply a blend of skills, expertise, and experience to your event, tactfully observing every detail to ensure your event runs smoothly. Over the years, I have enjoyed the success and gratification of offering excellent graphic design and typesetting services, delivering well-typed, designed, and properly aligned work to the client’s satisfaction.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Have strong faith, and don’t give up. The future is bright for those who believe in the beauty of their dreams!
