Today we’d like to introduce you to Krystal McGee.
Hi Krystal, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
It used to be such a distant dream of mine to own a boutique. I literally gathered so much information and researched everything possible. It still took me five years to overcome fear and finally launch. My launch date was 1/1/21. I’m the proud owner and CEO of KryStylez Closet. I was a little nervous, but more excited to finally be launching. I’m still new to the industry, but we’re doing so great right now. I have a strong team, and great clients who are absolutely amazing!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey to launch date has not been easy. Like I mentioned before, it took me five years to stop making excuses and finally do what God has blessed me to do. There’s always something new to learn, and keeping an open mind has helped me this far.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I love everything self-care, being creative with clothing, and living life fearless. I’m most proud of offering great quality pieces for my clients so they too can be creative, feel amazing, boost esteem, and live life unapologetic. Currently I’m known for being the owner of KryStylez Closet and new on the boutique scene. But, we’re so much more than a boutique. My goal is to change the mind of women and assist with what’s already inside, all while looking amazing and keeping that closet lit!
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Journaling is life! I’m a collector of TJ Max journals and pens. Every Boss chick need a few, ok. I’m also updating my YouTube channel for daily vlogs, stay tuned for that. You can find pretty much everything you need to know via YouTube. I love watching other boutique owners videos on how they launched. Everyone has a podcast now. There’s so much great content out there. Motivational and inspirational conversations are my go to’s while walking or working out. I highly recommend reading a book by Iyanla Vanzant, One day my soul opened up. It will bless your life.
