Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I remember as a nail technician being curious about healthier products to use during services. After researching, I found shea butter to have numerous benefits for the skin. I began creating and soon following, introduced ‘Melinda’s Body Essentials’ to my clients who had a direct hand in perfecting what is now Rejuvenate Bath & Body.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This journey has been full of trials. The biggest struggle has been taking the leap to expand Rejuvenate Bath & Body beyond my nail salon. I began participating in vendor events and building relationships with those in the community who’ve since played a large role in spreading the word about my products.
This entire process has been a learning lesson in getting outside of my comfort zone, improving my public speaking, and becoming the face of my brand.
We’ve been impressed with Rejuvenate Bath & Body, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Rejuvenate Bath & Body is a line of skincare products handcrafted using the finest all-natural ingredients – no parabens, no petroleum products, no synthetics, artificial colors, or perfumes. We create our products in small batches using a balanced blend of base ingredients; shea butter, herbs, and essential oils.
We are proud to have created a product that strives to aid in the body’s natural response to irritation, injury, healthy bodily functioning, and overall healthy skin.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I would like to thank my nail clients for their assistance in the transition of my product line. I encourage feedback and it’s because of them that I’ve been able to achieve the perfect blend of ingredients all the way down to the best packaging.
I’d also like to thank those who’ve supported and purchased my products after the trial and error stages. It’s because of them that I’ve been presented with opportunities to showcase my products on different platforms such as this. I could not have done this without the help of many.
