Hi Xavier, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory
I started my business in the fall of 2020 after the dust finally settled from the covid-19 pandemic. After sitting in the house for almost a full 9 months and growing restless with myself I decided to start a bath and body company. I spent the last few years learning and growing in the streets of Houston. Indulging in the foods, music, art, and most importantly the people. Everything it is that makes our city great. It was very important to me that my business reflects the city that I love, the listens that I’ve learned, and the comforts of life. I created Mister Bodyworks
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
For me, it’s been getting over the Dunning-Kruger effect. You read up on things and get advice from friends but, nothing has been more valuable than practical experience.

Mister Bodyworks a gender-neutral vegan bath & body company. We promote sustainability, inclusions, and most importantly beautiful skin. The business is primarily run through our online store. We believe shopping for bodyworks should be an intimate experience so we try our best to visit a few markets throughout the city
