Today we’d like to introduce you to Tamaria Turner and Jessica Miles.
Hi Tamaria and Jessica, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Hello, I just don’t know where to start. Lol.
In 2014, Phenomenal Swift Tax Service was established. We are sisters, Jessica Miles is the founder and co-founder, and my business partner is Tamaria Turner. The name Phenomenal is our name that describes our talents and personalities. Swift is for my sister (Tamaria) because is always prompt and fast. We started with just a few family and friends that helped build our clientele. We have been doing taxes for 7 years. Don’t really like to talk about this part of our life but, this is where the New beginning started. In Nov. 2019 her husband Ivory Turner, which is the wife co-founder (Tamaria Turner) was accidentally killed at work. This turned my world and my family’s world upside down.
After a few months of this death, I needed something to do that will clear my mind and something that I will enjoy doing. Didn’t know what or when. So, one-day Tamaria saw on Instagram that a young lady was advertising that she does V-steaming. Tamaria had heard of it before but never tried it. So, Tamaria went to a yoni steam appointment and tried it out. She fell in love with V-steaming. She started doing her research about herbs and natural products for women’s healthy vaginal. My sister and I had been having issues with fibrosis and cysts on our ovaries. Which all women have ever experienced excruciating pain in the stomach. We tried it for about 3-4 months straight ourselves before we started telling our friends about V-steaming. After doing the v-steaming for several months the pains and cramps were reduced tremendously to none. Tamaria knew then that her new vision was V-steaming.
In 2020 of Jan. Phenomenal Ladies V-steaming was established and founded by Tamaria Turner in Baton Rouge, LA, and Houston, TX. My sister Jessica decided to move from Baton Rouge, La to Houston, Tx, and we decided to put all of our talents and businesses together and opened up a shop. It’s called 1 Stop Shop w/ Phenomenal Ladies.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. But God is the glory. We have run through so many setbacks, but we have learned that a setback is a major comeback in the process. One struggle that we both went through together was the loss of Tamaria husband Ivory Turner. He used to call Jessica #2 because he was her #2 backbone when her husband wasn’t available. So, just picking back up, and finding a way to keep moving forward for my kids and family has been a daily fight. But we here to say GOD is key.
We’ve been impressed with 1 Stop Shop w/ Phenomenal Ladies, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
1 Stop Shop w/ Phenomenal Ladies goal and vision is to help others establish their brands or businesses within our shop. We know there are so many people that don’t know how to start their business. We can help you start that and promote or put your products and services in our shop. Secondly, we both specialize in business and personal taxes, assigned notary, printing, copying, and etc. Thirdly, we also specialize in V-steaming. We have a private area for women to come in and get their yoni steamed. We are really excited to educate women that it’s no need to get surgery anymore when they are having issues with fibrosis, cysts, blood pressure, depression, anxiety, hot flashes, etc. All of these things set us apart from others. We just want our customers to come in and enjoy the business and pleasure side of our business.
