Hi Trey, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Houston-based Luxury Real Estate Agent Trey Bodwin is the Founder/Creator of TreyFindsTx– a media platform that conveniently allows sellers and agents to highlight their homes and listings.
With an increased demand of people relocating to both Houston and Dallas, Texas, Trey has focused on the ability to provide gain market exposure for builders, clients and agents through home exploration. “Gaining market exposure involves far more than simply listing a house. It’s where home exploration meets discovery.”
What began as a primary marketing effort has now become a branding resource for luxury homes across the state of Texas.
“I’ve been blessed and fortunate to see the TreyFindsTx brand grow into a media outlet to showcase amazing architecture within our state. It’s allowed me to connect with the Real Estate Market and fellow architecture fanatics internationally as well.”
Trey has even bigger plans in the coming years for the platform. “The primary goal is to provide my passion. I enjoy giving individuals an inside look into some of the greatest homes out there. Who knows–we may land a TV show.”
With the market being as hot as ever, Trey is committed to continuing his video tours in hopes of connecting more developers with buyers in the local Houston and Dallas market also as a licensed agent. Now that Texas has shown to be a primary destination for out-of-state buyers, one could argue he’s in the right business.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Many of the struggles Trey faced in the beginning were unexpected. Many developers were reluctant to the idea of video tours. That pushed Trey to find another route into the content world as he began documenting some of Houston’s luxurious apartment complexes and residential homes for exposure. To further gain the trust of potential clients and developers, Trey began hosting open houses for other agents while highlighting homes to gain a larger reach.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
This passion for Real Estate started years ago when I came out of the auto industry. One of the things I had difficulty with in the beginning was finding a way to stand out amongst the large pool of talented agents within the Houston and Dallas markets.
It wasn’t until the summer of 2019 when I discovered that video tours could be the point of separation for me. After recording video tours by phone, one day a Houston based developer caught an eye of me recording in action and gifted me a recording tool that would allow me to record my tours in a much more professional manner–with less turbulence while recording.
Just that small act of kindness from following my passion has opened doors for me that I couldn’t have imagined.
I often credit the business success to absorbing, reflecting and flowing with any circumstances. It’s never too late to follow your passion and there’s always a way to make a way.
