Today we’d like to introduce you to Yvonne McCullough
Hi Yvonne, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
SEYVNPM, People would ask, what made me come up with the name? Well 7 has been around since I was a kid. 7 is my favorite number and it has so much meaning behind it. If you haven’t noticed, SEYVNPM has exactly 7 numbers in its spelling. 💕💕💕 My mom had 7 kids and that number alone means so much to me. I remember as a young girl I wanted a fashion line and I was going to contribute it to my baby brother Mark Anthony, who died at 2 yrs. old when I was only 4 yrs. old. I wanted to name my company after him but didn’t want to get his name mixed up with the celebrity. So one day back in April of 2017, I was watching tv and I was trying to think of a name. Empire was about to come on at 7 and that’s when it hit me, SEYVNPM my very own Empire! SEYVNPM also is the golden time when people go on dates or start getting ready for a girl’s night. SEYVNPM encourages all women from all shapes, size and complexion to embrace who they are, to have confidence and to acknowledge themselves as queens. Writing this made me very emotional because I’m actually putting my vision I had as a little girl into action. I made that promise to myself and I’m doing it! I appreciate the love and support that I’m receiving. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️ This is only the beginning, my vision for this company is so big!!! Doing this for my Family, my team & community!!!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There were many obstacles in the way of building my brand from working a 9-5, bad relationships, COVID slowing everything down across the country. With all of that not once did I get discouraged. I just made a change and got rid of the bad energy that was around me so that I could focus more on SEYVNPM.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
SEYVNPM is built on a confident woman, a woman that knows she can do and be whatever she wants without any doubt. SEYVNPM is not just a brand, it’s a movement for women to love themselves inside and out and to encourage other women to do the same. I wear many hats in this business, from marketing, creating visuals, sewing tags on to clothes by hand, built my own website, etc. I’m known for making people feel good about themselves and encouraging people to go after their dreams. Uplifting queens is my specialty, it brings me a lot of joy. Wanting every woman to get a chance to be a part of SEYVNPM brand sets me apart because this is strictly no judgment zone. I’m proud that my brand is growing right before my eyes. It’s such an amazing feeling!
What matters most to you?
Making sure every woman has confidence. No woman should ever feel like she’s not pretty enough because of what society thinks. Who cares what society thinks, we are all beautiful.
