Hi Bridget, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
As an avid traveler, I always brought my sheets and towels with me. Before the world shut down due to Covid, I owned a daycare where keeping germs away was a priority! I began to think about what product-based business I could start, and I kept thinking about starting a home bedding and bath company. Once Covid began, I started to think about what else the world needed besides masks and hand sanitizer. A light bulb went off! Sheets and towels that can go with the traveler and be thrown away after a trip. Hence born, B Luxury Essentials!
Like every other business in today’s society, I used word-of-mouth, social media, and web traffic to elevate my brand.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Though the road has not been easy, it has been rewarding!
Struggles include capital and funding to expand the business in areas such as employees, marketing, product placement, and distribution.
I also face the challenge of being a single mom and an entrepreneur. Work/life balance can be hard to achieve.

Serial entrepreneur, mother, widow, and the first African American woman to start a travel sanitary solutions company. Bridget has always found herself diving into her passions and sharing them with the world. As a New Orleans native, Bridgetfirst began her entrepreneurial journey by opening a daycare. At the start of the pandemic, Bridget quickly realized that her”germaphobia” began long before the world was in a crisis. As an avid traveler, Bridget would always bring her sheets and towels when staying away from home. With not having easily accessible options such as disposable towels, bedding, and more, she knew it was time to do what she does best…start a company. Having sanitary options is no longer just for medical facilities or massage therapists, B Luxury Essentials is providing biodegradable travel sanitary solutions for all those who want to do their part in stopping the spread of diseases, infections, and viruses.
We want the readers to know this brand was built with the consumer in mind. Anticipating the needs of our customers, adapting to the changes in the healthcare industry, and the outbreaks, and keeping sanitation at the forefront.
