Today we’d like to introduce you to Award winning promoter, also nominated for Manager of the year Thurayyah Pitts A.K.A Raye The Promo Addict.
Hi Thurayyah, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
T.A.P. Legend Entertainment Co. was created in March of 2007 by Thurayyah Pitts, A.K.A. Raye. It started out with just managing artists, but over time the company has grown and currently offers multiple services such as management, artist development, promotion, interviews, media, consultation, photography, and more. As we continue to grow, we will be adding even more services. Raye’s love for music started at a young age as did her love for helping others; those two loves birthed this company. Here at T.A.P. Legend Entertainment Co. we view music as art, and our artists and clients are treated as family.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Definitely not a smooth road. Many struggles along the way. People doing bad business, losing family members, artists not understanding the business side of being an artist, personal health issues, just to list a few. But none of that was enough to stop me, and all of those struggles help mold me into who I am now!

My main role is artist management; however, I also am known for hosting, promoting, providing artist development, working in film (movies, tv shows, commercials, etc.). What sets me apart is whether you meet me over the phone or in person you can read my energy and know that I am genuine and sincere which has led me to a lot of great relationships and opportunities. That is also what I am most proud of, the fact that just being me is enough, knowing I don’t have to lie nor deceive anyone to be accomplished is a great feeling, especially in this industry being that it is over-saturated with scammers, liars, and deceit.
Any big plans?
I look forward to adding 2-3 more artists to my management, providing all of my artists with the opportunities and support so that they can achieve everything they desire. I also plan on doing more in the film industry behind the scenes and in camera so look out for that. Overall, I look forward to the success of my artists and my success in all of my endeavors.
