So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’m a free spirit, a mother, a business owner, and much more. I was born on March 9 on that day the skies open up and the stars aligned for a powerhouse to born. I was blessed to give birth to three extraordinary beings. Which is the reason why I have no choice, but to win. Let’s go deeper. In the year 2018 brought forth great change in my life. First, my daughter became sick from a ringworm that turn into a bacterial infection. Which cause her hair to fall out. I was a total wreck. I did not want my daughter to feel less than a little girl. I knew people were going to stare, and the kids were going to tease her. I saw the pain in her eyes when she lost her hair, so I decided to cut my hair as well. So, she would still be able to walk around with her head held high. Which it gave her the sense of mom can I can too. It didn’t only help her it help me as well with my confidence. Once, the ringworm started to heal the doctor said it would take a year or more for her hair to grow back. I felt a little defeated because I didn’t want her to continue to walk around with a bald spot. I received a call from my cousin Danielle about starting a hair business selling hair. Then, a light bulb went off.
I decided at that moment to create an oil to grow my daughter’s hair back. From a ringworm birth, our now best-selling product “Goddess Growth Oil.” Goddess Growth Oil grew my daughter’s hair back in one month. I was in shock. So, that’s when my cousin and I decided to start selling hair care products. We saw the beauty in the way we could make people smile and increase their confidence just from our hair care products. I went through a spiritual awakening that year as well. I dealt with great loss. I was married for six years in the month of December things abruptly took a turn for the worst due to infidelity that resulted in a divorce and a death. Yes, I said death! I felt a heartbreak that words can not describe. The betrayal from my family and friends was the hardest time for me. I was left alone with no one to trust, three kids, and a broken heart. I will go deeper on my YouTube channel “Aud’s World.” From the darkest place of my life, I took steps in bettering myself. I decided to go deeper into myself and dig up the roots of my traumas. I decided to face things I was afraid to say out loud, being open, and stand in my truth. So, no one else can tell my story. I’m able to encourage others through my story. I leave you with this no matter how hard life seems to get. You can and will defeat all demons in your life. By trusting yourself and not giving up on yourself. It starts with being open and honest with yourself first!
Has it been a smooth road?
One of the obstacles I face is not being able to receive what I give from the ones that suppose to know me best. What I have realized about this is that it is a blessing because without them saying no or denying me. I wouldn’t know that I’m able to stand on my own. I learned how to think, respond, and take action. When I hear the word “no,” I take it as a challenge. To be totally transparent another obstacle is myself sometimes I self sabotage myself out of fear, anxiety, and depression. I have experienced so many times without knowing exactly what I was going through. I would work hard and gain the things I need and then life would come with its trails that put me in a place of defeat. By the time I woke up, I had already self-destructed and everything around was crumbling. Since I have been walking on my spiritual journey, I can now identify when I am going in self-sabotage mode. I can now fight against the feeling meaning when negativity starts creeping in and making things feel 10x worst then what it is. I check myself by saying Audrey look around what is positive in our life. What are some of the little steps we have accomplished that is putting us in a place that will bring dreams to reality. When I feel like not going, I know it’s a sign to get up. This comes from me studying me. As if you study your partner to know their likes, dislikes, triggers, what makes them smile, their love language, and etc. You would just do that for you! Learn yourself is the best gift you can give yourself because you will be able to overcome any obstacle even when you feel defeated.

What advice would you give to someone at the start of her career?
Never give up on yourself or your dreams for anyone including yourself.
