Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Ambrosio and Enrique Chambers.
Hi Michelle and Enrique, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My husband Enrique and I were trying to think of a business to create together. There were many options to choose from, however, one day I was reading about photo booth rentals and thought it was a great idea! As a lover of anything that has to do with art and being creative, this was a wonderful business to start. We began to research what photo booth to start with and saw how much people loved 360 photo booths. We then decided to start with that. Next, had to think of a name! I wanted our cat Coco to be a part of our business in the same way, so I came up with of Coco’s Fotos-short and easy-to-remember! Of course, she is the logo and we joke around by saying she is our CEO! After multiple times of testing out our equipment, Coco’s Fotos was ready to launch. Seeing how much fun people were having with our photo booth and how much happiness it brings us makes us know we made the right choice in starting this business. One feature that makes us stand out is the graphics made, such as overlays for the 360, templates and welcome screens for our selfie booth, and flyers. This is where our love for art shows because making the graphics allows us to take our creativity to the next level. It is one of my favorite parts of being in this business!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Starting out as a new business is always a challenge. How do we market? Who is our target audience? What supplies do we need? Trial and error definitely helped us figure out what worked with marketing. We passed out flyers to anyone we could, constantly post to social media and try to spread the word about our photo booth business to as many people as possible. Learning how to operate the different photo booth software, ensure the perfect lighting, and positioning was no easy task either!

Coco’s Fotos is a unique photo booth rental business that serves the Houston area, based in Fort Bend County. Shortly after starting, joined the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce; we want to grow to become one of the top photo booth rental businesses in the Houston area! We are also listed on The Knot and Wedding Wire! Keep an eye out for us Houston!
We currently offer the 360 Photo Booth and the Digital Selfie Booth-both make the perfect addition to any event. Very soon we will also be offering the Magic Mirror Photo Booth and other services such as flower wall/hedge wall rentals. We use very high-quality equipment plus fun and unique props to ensure all guests have a fabulous time! We do small house parties to large corporate events-our booths are for everyone!
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Coco’s Fotos is an army veteran and nurse-owned, husband and wife-owned business; our clients are in good hands! Safety is a top priority for us. We work very hard to ensure guests have a fun time creating memories with our booth, from our setup down to our beautifully made overlays and templates.
Our 5-star customer service is what also makes us special, we want to make our client’s vision a reality. If they want a certain backdrop or a particular look for their overlays-we make it happen! We go the extra mile for every single one of our clients no matter the size of the event.
