Today we’d like to introduce you to Adriana LoRusso.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
My art journey started when I was a child my grandparents were art collectors and I grew up surrounded by art. Also, I have fine artists in my family like painters, writers, poets to name some. I started drawing when little and I used to draw everything I could see just like it was. As the years went by I had my own drawings.
Please tell us about your art.
I’m a visual artist I paint mostly figures using bright colors which is my trademark. As a reference I use live models’ sessions to draw and then I paint it with acrylic painting pastels oil sticks and use other mediums that makes it a mixed media artwork. My message is empowering women and making people feel beautiful and happy with themselves. When creating I pour my heart and soul into my paintings art is my passion and I want to bring happiness to everyone that buys my art. I love when people tell me your art makes me happy.
Do you have any advice for other artists? Any lessons you wished you learned earlier?
Yes, I do, Art is a luxury and it takes time to establish yourself in the market.
