Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandra Parga Ochoa MSN, RN.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Alexandra Parga. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I have always had an interest in skincare and medicine. At 12 years old, my mother purchased my first skincare regimen, and I have always been very disciplined with it. Of course, the products and needs of my skincare have changed throughout the years, and now my passion of skincare and nursing have joined forces.
Like so many of my patients, I was hesitant about injectables. I realized it was the next step to take for my skincare needs. I was initially hesitant since I didn’t want to look “frozen” but wanted a more natural look. I wanted to learn more about it, so I took a course to understand the process and with my previous Pedi experience, the small needles and precise injections came natural to me. I am all about enhancing your natural beauty, while a little goes a long way.
After working with my Medical Director as a concierge service for three years, I was ready to take the next step and with my background in Nursing Leadership, it made sense to expand. I knew I wanted to take the next step in our business, but I wasn’t actively looking when I came across our current location. After walking through the space, I had a vision of what the place could look like.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like in any small business, we ran with obstacles of opening a new place. Searching for the right talent to provide excellent skincare in line with the vision of 987 Aesthetics & Wellness. The biggest hurdle has been the pandemic, which has affected everybody and put everything in perspective for so many of us. This external pressure made us flexible and get creative to continue to provide excellent care for everyone’s skin, even when we couldn’t see them in person. We started having virtual consultations and expanded our e-commerce. We are blessed to have our loyal members and customers that have been with us through this journey.

At 987 Aesthetics, our goal is to help you look and feel your best. We believe in a conservative approach to beauty treatments, providing you with the BEST procedures for your skincare needs. We provide botox/dysport, fillers, skinpen, IPL, medical-grade facials, chemical (micro) peels and skin tightening.
As a company, I am most proud of the relationships we build with our patients. We customize a plan for each patient for their needs. From skin care regimens to hyperpigmentation treatments, as well as treatment of acne scars and wrinkles/sagging skin.
The honesty and trust we provide to our patients is what sets us apart. We have three memberships – everyone can find the one that meets their needs. This will allow for a maintenance in skincare and treatments so you can look and feel your best.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory from childhood were our Sunday’s. We would go to mass as a family then go eat and sometimes go to a movie. For the most part, we would end up at my aunt’s house almost every Sunday afternoon. There was always a lot of movement there with my four older cousins. We all grew up very closely and being that family is very important to us, we all still keep in touch and now try to get together with our kids as much as possible even though we all aren’t in the same city.
