Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Haley-Johnston.
Amanda, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have been in the business of owning salons, styling clients and on location styling services for over 23 years. My experience includes working with some of the most elite in the business professionals from California, Washington State, Colorado, Texas and I am currently in the process of opening a new location in Nashville Tennessee!
I am a licensed cosmetologist and participate in constant continuing education to keep up with the latest trends and techniques. This benefits you extensively, not only for up to date hair and makeup ideas, also for sanitation and attention to detail that is sometimes overlooked by unlicensed artists.
We offer many services such as spray tans, extension work, trials, bridals, engagements, rehearsal styling, the day of services and touch-ups or style changes for after the event for any touch-ups or style changes needed for a flawless evening! We’ll be your own personal stylist as long as you would like us to be!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Moving states and developing new, ground up businesses has been tricky to get started. I welcome the challenge and appreciate the growth that comes with every new adventure!

I am most proud of how far the business had come in its first full year and very excited to see what is in store for the future both in my Houston and Nashville locations.
23 years of experience and having the opportunity to have worked in so many different states is what sets me apart from others. It’s been very educational to see how the industry differs from state to state.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Initially, success comes from a happy client that has felt cared for throughout every step along the process.
As my business grows, my success is defined by each level of development that has been executed efficiently. I’m constantly setting goals and once they’ve been achieved, it’s off to the next.
