Hi! I am Amy Osborne, your FAVORITE Scentsy lady! I am a Wife to Jud of five years, and we have two beautiful daughters, Shaun and Emma, and a handsome son, Jaxson. Our little wax business is a family affair. We also have two fur babies! We love to hunt, camp, and spend time together. Besides Scentsy, I love to craft, coupon, and work in my yard.
Four years ago, in September, I decided to take a leap of faith and start my journey with Scentsy. I had just had our second child and was looking for a way to make some extra money while still being home with my babies every day. My Aunt asked me about becoming a part of her Scentsy family. I signed up that day and I haven’t looked back. I have worked extremely hard building this business and expanding it into what it has become today. Since I started as an Independent Scentsy Consultant, I have earned three all expense paid vacations, numerous awards, had another baby, and grown my team to nearly 100 consultants.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has been fairly smooth. I jumped right in, put my head down and got to work. I have had a few rough spots, especially during my third pregnancy, fighting high blood pressure the entire time. That is also a perk of this business though. I can work from anywhere, anytime.

We are a full fragrance company. If it smells, I can fix it! I love helping my clients choose fragrances for their homes, vehicles, laundry, and just about anywhere else they need a fragrance boost. Customer service is my absolute favorite thing about this business, from personalized gifts to Laundry Love bundles, I love it all. I make sure to go above and beyond for my clients daily. Every single order is personalized for them.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Consistency. In direct sales, you have to remain consistent with all aspects of your home-based business. You don’t have anyone there to tell you to get up and get to work each day. You don’t have anyone to tell you clock in, you have to consistently work your business and hustle your heart out daily.
