Andrea, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
As far as I can remember, I have always wanted people to see how beautiful their life is or could be. Instinctively I knew that our thought process held the key to shaping our future. And I may have had more practice than most in honing this skill. Often people would walk up to me and share with me a problem(s). As a kid and young adult, we could usually come up with a solution. Adulthood was another story. The challenges grew in difficulty and I felt inadequate in addressing them. I went back to school to get my Master’s in Psychology with a specialty in Marriage and Family therapy. This helped to further shape my thinking into looking at systems. The whole picture, instead of one perspective.
My Master’s degree provided an excellent springboard, but I was seeking additional depth to my understanding. I began learning about the Law of Attraction, which really shifted how I approached my life. I started teaching my friends how to “allow” what they desired. After teaching manifestation for a few years, I noticed that people did not see the beauty they carried within themselves. A friend called me Beautiful Soul. And I remembered being told a long time ago I was beautiful on the inside. I wanted others to know they are beautiful on the inside as well from there Beautiful Soul was born.
Has it been a smooth road?
Often to come to a beautiful place you have to face challenges. I can certainly recall many “dark nights of the soul’ moments that brought me to the place of clarity today. Five years ago, I lost my grandfather. He was the significant male figure in my life after my father passed away. His death unraveled my world. He was an example of masculine unconditional love. My mom told me he changed when I was born. He softened and showed me a level of love I have not experienced since. Today it is still a struggle. The pain is not as great, but the void is still felt.
My intention of accessing the beauty within is my memorial to my grandfather’s life. I remember the beauty of love he showed. He taught me how to love myself truly. He taught me how to love myself beautifully.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the United States as a self-confessed foodie. I love that I can experience all types of cuisine in my city. We have something for everyone, from food trucks to 5-star restaurants.
I am not a fan of our traffic, but we have never been a city big on mass transit. Houstonians know to throw on an Audible book or their favorite songs and ride it out. When I started driving, my grandmother told me to always keep a half a tank of gas in my car. Definitely a lifesaver when I find myself in an unexpected traffic jam.
