Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Tillman.
Andrea, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
After graduating from college, I decided to work with my family’s business. After having my second child and him having health issues I decided I needed to stay home. During that time, and him not needing me as much I wanted to do something to better myself. I was always interested in Real Estate and knew this would be the perfect career move. I didn’t realize the struggles I would face with my career change but was determined to give it a shot. I’m almost four years in and have learned and grown so much, and I couldn’t be happier to call myself a successful business owner.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There have been several struggles; the main struggle was being self-motivated and remembering my why!
Tell us more about the business.
I’m a Houston Realtor, and I help families lease, sell, and buy properties. The thing I’m most proud of is being able to help families create generational wealth. The thing that sets me apart from others is my honesty and compassion for others.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t consider myself to have good or bad luck, but believe whatever is for me, I will receive.
