Meet Angela Norman of Elite Training Center

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Norman.

Angela, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Well, I’m originally from Detroit, Michigan. I came to Houston to provide a better life for my child and I. I was a single mother leaving a bad relationship and trying to make ends meet. Working 7 days a week from part time at HEB and 7 days at the hospital still struggling. The pandemic allowed me to reevaluate what I really wanted in life, and that I wasn’t happy with where I was at. I didn’t like working for others and saw that there was a need for more skilled medical professionals. Opening up a career school with focus on high demand health care careers, allowed me to help others change their lives with the skills we teach.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road to success is far from easy, when one door closes, another one opens, if not you make your own way through it may be a window.
