Ashley, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I am a Texas Real Estate Agent that ran into a lot of clients with bad credit. I started to look into my own credit because of this and seen that my lowest score was a 489. I also missed out on home sales by referring clients to other agents or credit repair services that did not provide any true results. It took me three months to raise my score from a 489 to a 700. I studied the process on my own, tried out software’s, read the entire Fair Credit Reporting Act and other things to get me familiar with fighting off collection creditor. During the pandemic, my business has grown in Real Estate as well as credit repair. There is no better time than to buy a home with the low interest rates and repair your credit to come out stronger after this is all over.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Definitely not a smooth road. You are not able to help everyone. I’ve had some customers not tell me the full story and I’ve had to find out after they have paid for my service. This puts me in a bad situation at times because it can complicate the dispute process. Also, there is no steady income you have super high months and super low months. Trusting the process keeps me above ground.
