Today we’d like to introduce you to B Val. Him and his team share his story with us below.
Please kick things off for us with some background on the story.
B Val is the rose that grew from the concrete of Acres Homes, blooming flows and production styles that’s as diverse as his hometown of Houston, Texas. The rapper, singer, songwriter, producer found a safe haven in music despite his tumultuous upbringing. With guidance from his parents and support from friends, B Val was empowered to create and pursue a career of music and bettering his community along with his team Still Dreamin Entertainment. His influences stem from Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West and Drake to Scarface, Lupe Fiasco Pusha T and many more. With a solid foundation, incredible passion and nonstop drive, B Val is sure to be a name we’ll be hearing for a while.
Please tell us about your art.
I create music for the idealists that strive for better despite circumstances that deem their efforts impossible. I pray that everyone I reach realizes they can play a part in creating a more harmonious world.
What do you think is the biggest challenge facing artists today?
The biggest challenge an artist faces today is marketing music in a way that encourages an audience to give it their time in a world where so many things are demanding that time.
