Meet Brianna Daniels of Just A Beauty Supply

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Daniels.

Brianna, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
As I child, I’ve always wanted to be a business owner. I knew it was either going to be a nail salon, hair salon, beauty supply or an own a shopping strip where only those are only allowed to rent. I always wondered what the people that would cater to my people which it be in a nail salon or sold our products, why weren’t they black? When I got older, I realized how much my people spent on personal care products that were designed for us, but was not owned by us. I wanted to create something to call my own and something that my family can be proud of me.

By the age of 22, I decided to open my own online beauty supply store. The world is an uncertain place as we can tell during this pandemic. I had available time and I realized nothing was stopping me from opening up my business, so I did. The internet has taken over the world and people are more open to order something online whether than going into a store especially now. I wanted to create somewhere for everyone can go to and get their favorite products without having to leave their beds, put on a mask, social distance for an affordable price. I am a new business; however, my dream is to be a global beauty supply store that serves men, women and children. I know anything is possible if you have the faith of a mustard seed in God (Luke 17:6) and allow God to guide my footsteps for positivity for my and others future opportunities (Proverbs 16:9).

Has it been a smooth road?
It was a smooth ride as far as getting my business started. By that I mean, finding a name, funding, support from relatives and getting inventory. The hard part for me as a new business now is getting customers. I strive for greatness and getting my name out there is harder than it seems. I know it will pay off; however, advertisements and marketing are such a huge commitment and responsibility.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
My business is called Just A Beauty Supply. I chose that name for its durability and it is straight to the point like me. Since I am providing products to all races, all genders and all ages, I wanted my name to be neutral. I sell products for men, women and children. I mainly have hair care products currently, but I will be expanding to skin and cosmetics products as well soon. I want my business to be a neutral place where everyone can shop and receive excellent customer service. I am different from other competitors because of my diversity of my business. I want everyone to feel welcomed and able to find the products they need no matter what hair or skin type they are. Everyone is beautiful.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
In 5-10 years, I will to be global. I want my business website to different languages available for customers to shop in their language. I strive for a 98% overall satisfaction rate for my customers. I will be in a warehouse Faculty full of inventory. I have to speak things into existence.
