Meet Brittney Danielle of Boldly Britt in Katy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittney Danielle.

Brittney, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have always been a creative individual, but not quite sure of the area in which I should target my talents. As a child, I was always drawing, reading, designing fashion, creating imaginary events, and writing stories in my free time. As I got older, I began to record myself reading scripts and singing songs that I wrote on a tape recorder. My interest in creating continued when my mother gifted me with my first digital camera. A love for taking photos and editing them became one of my favorite past times. At that time, those gifts and talents were not viewed as something practical that could become a career, so I never really gave it much thought until my second year in college. I changed my major from radiology to broadcast journalism. It was a done deal, I was able to learn how to shoot video, edit, and I got a chance to do what I loved the most, informing and inspiring in my own way.

My broadcast journalism career was put on hold when I got married and started a family, but the burning desire to create and inspire still lingered in my soul every day of my life. Still, not quite sure of how I would break into an industry that would allow me to live my dreams but also be present for my family, I began flirting with the idea of starting my own blog. Although I enjoy writing, video creation and editing was still my passion. Motherhood changed me and allowed me to grow in so many different ways and I wanted to share that journey with other women and mothers who may also be experiencing those changes and could be feeling as if they are alone. It was through that desire that my YouTube Channel and brand was born.

Has it been a smooth road?
Of course the road hasn’t been smooth. In this day and age, social media makes it looks as if everything is easy.
I’m here to tell you, it’s NOT. Building a brand, working a full-time job, pursuing higher education, and taking care of a family is not by any means easy, but honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. That’s why I’m here, I want to show women that maintaining a family, loving in a healthy marriage, pursuing your goals, and running your businesses is totally possible with determination, consistency, and most of all, alignment with God’s purpose for your life.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Boldly Britt story. Tell us more about the business.
My brand, Boldly Britt, is currently a platform that inspires women to walk boldly and courageously in the changing seasons of womanhood. There are so many struggles and triumphs that we encounter in this journey and it is my goal to let women know that they aren’t alone in any of these struggles and triumphs that they experience. I specialize in creating relatable Lifestyle and Motherhood content for the everyday women. I am most proud of the connections that I continue to make through my brand platform. This has sparked more ideas for expanding my business to better serve women in all walks of womanhood. What sets me apart from others is that I am just your everyday working wife, mom, and professional with a dream. I get so many messages from women expressing that they can relate to me on so many levels, which is something that I wish I had when I was going through life’s changes. It brings me an immense amount of joy to be able to provide that element of significant connection to others.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see the industry of social media and influencing sky rocketing over the next 5-10 years. The opportunities are endless for everyday people like myself who want to build businesses and brands. Social media has completely changed the way big brands reach audiences and has provided a way for smaller brands to reach the masses as well. It’s become so much easier for people to share their expertise, talents, and products with the constant evolution of social media, blogging, and online digital marketing. This is an industry that will continue to evolve as new generational trends emerge.
