Today we’d like to introduce you to Cameron Carr.
Cameron, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I always grew up playing and doing my family member’s hair. It has always been a passion of mine. I graduated high school at the age of 16 so I could pursue my career in cosmetology. I graduated from Paul Mitchell the School Clear Lake at the age of 18. I am currently 20 years old, and I own my own salon booth and specialize in hair extensions and blonding. I am currently certified in Bellami And Dreamcatchers hair extensions. I have luckily built up an amazing clientele at the age of 20.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not been a smooth road to say the least. I grew up in a family who did not have a lot of money, and I wanted to make something of myself. I am proud to say at the age of 20, I have my own house, bought my car, and own my own business. It has been a bumpy and hard road, but it has all been worth it.
Please tell us about Beauty By Cam.
I specialize in hair extensions, and blonding. I am known for making people’s blonde hair dreams, and long hair dreams come true. What sets me apart from others is my drive, my in salon experience, and I am able to give my clients what they ask for, generally in one session, without any damage to the hair. I love making my clients feel welcomed and giving them what they ask for. I live for the happy tears and making my customers feel absolutely amazing.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I had to start over, I honestly would not have done anything differently. I am proud I was able to start my life and career at such a young age and to be able to thrive. I only hope others can see my story, and thrive too.
