Hi Charleston, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started selling unique sodas found in other cities from the trunk of my car in barbershops, parks and to family and friends until we had large-scale distribution from the US, Canada and abroad.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Because of unfamiliar high price points in the beverage market, reselling was not an instant success. We faced criticism from customers, distributors and retailers, who claimed although our products were rare, they were not willing to pay a premium price. It wasn’t until social media influencers, rappers and entertainers caught on, that the common customer took an interest.

Exotic Pop is known worldwide as the “Unique-Beverage Boutique,” offering rare, hard-to-find flavors of beverages and snacks that are sourced from all over the world.
I specialize in marketing, advertising, product development and catering to high-end cliental and brand ambassadors.
What sets me apart from others is the unique flavors in the making of our products tie in the arts, music industry, authentic lifestyles and cultures for distinct flavors that attract soda connoisseurs from around the world.
We pride ourselves on mass community outreach nationwide, including financial literacy programs. Fulfillment of needs in our community means much more than money to the owners and ambassadors of the Exotic Pop brand.
A portion of the sale of each product goes to benefit the community and/or a community organization.
How do you define success?
The measure of success is not how much you receive, but how much you give back.
