Meet Chubu Nwadiei of NVTA Digital Media in Downtown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chubu Nwadiei.

Chubu, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My photography journey began in my high school yearbook and newspaper class. I took photos for school sports and events and realized that I was pretty good. Being in those classes really sparked my passion for photography and I began learning on my own. From there, I made a decision to start a business and a few rebrands later, we have NVTA Media. The name is pronounced “noh-ta” and it comes from the word notable because that is our goal here to create something noteworthy or notable with our services.

I started off shooting just about everything from babies to family photos to events and everything in between. I have since narrowed the focus and offer three big categories for photography being; graduation, event, and creative. For video, we generally work with artists/musicians, small businesses, and organizations. I love working and collaborating with other artists and constantly learning to keep improving.

Has it been a smooth road?
Things have not always been smooth, but I have found that when you focus on taking care of people things usually work out. I thank God for every hard lesson I have learned along the way. Initially, my thoughts on building a business was that it was easy, but I learned quickly that there is a lot that goes into starting and maintaining a business. A lot of mistakes were made by trial and error and they helped me to better understand my goals and how I could operate.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with NVTA Digital Media – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
NVTA Media is a digital media business that provides photography and videography services for students, artists, small businesses, and organizations. We serve the central Texas area including Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. We recently opened an online store with digital designs, we have all types of posters all in one size for now.

Service is at the heart of this business. We work to continually improve the service experience for our clients. With everyone we work with we make sure that they are taken care of and don’t just have a good experience but a NVTAble experience.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
The people in Houston are unlike any other people and that is my favorite thing about Houston. There are a plethora of great quality people in this city. The traffic would have to be my least favorite thing about Houston, but it won’t stop me from scouting locations and finding great spots or create.
