Meet Corrie Williams of Corrieagraphed in Galleria

Today we’d like to introduce you to Corrie Williams.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Corrie. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
Corrieagraphed was created as a social media branding agency because a friend of mine who owns a CPA firm liked my personal social media pages and asked me to come on board to be her Marketing Director. Because of the work, I was doing for her, I received inquiries from other entrepreneurs to assist them with their social media pages as well. From that, I decided that while I would still work with her, I would launch Corrieagraphed to take on clients and assist them with their branding and marketing needs.

Recently, I added a new component to the business because I kept conversing with people who had these brilliant ideas but didn’t know how to go about actually developing them into a full-fledged business. I found myself on multiple occasions giving advice on what to do and which steps to prioritize, so I now have added business development to my list of services.

Has it been a smooth road?
I have been extremely blessed in the sense that I have not had too many bumps and bruises in launching and sustaining my business. If I had to identify a struggle, it would be work/life balance. As an entrepreneur and an admitted perfectionist, I can’t always turn my work brain off. I will literally be at dinner, checking my client’s social media pages and constantly thinking about upcoming content to post.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Corrieagraphed story. Tell us more about the business.
Corrieagraphed specializes in producing content and graphics for social media pages of small businesses. In addition to working with already established businesses, we now assist upcoming entrepreneurs by helping them develop their business from the ground up, preparing them for their launch, and sustaining their business through continued marketing.

As an agency, we are proud that during the quarantine, we have assisted our clients in keeping their business viable to their target audience through social media. With new clients who have discovered that multiple streams of income are necessary during these times, we have been instrumental in creating new businesses for them, which in turn means additional income for their families.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see social media branding and marketing as the most effective way to advertise and reach people. In this quarantine, most people around the world have been glued to their phones and laptops, scrolling their social media to interact with one another, be entertained, and to be kept informed on the latest news. Millions of people bought items they need and don’t need through ads featured on social media platforms that required no more effort than to swipe up. As a business owner, it is imperative to have a good social media marketing strategy because the primary avenue to effectively reach potential customers will be via social media over the course of the next few years.
