Two years ago, I decided to make a spontaneous purchase that I never knew would change my life. I purchased a camera and began learning how to use it, practicing taking photos and recording videos to occupy my time. I watched various tutorials about how to use editing software to better bring my vision to life. Surely enough, this process became a new favorite hobby. I discovered my new love for storytelling, being able to capture people’s expressions and emotions. My creative work soon captivated people on social media and I started to receive requests regarding the services I offered. Inspired by the large amount of requests I was receiving, I decided to start my own creative company, focusing mostly on weddings, lifestyle, and events. I strongly believe passion can only come from within; it’s the most important component I bring to every shoot as it allows me to capture the priceless moments in a person’s life.
Has it been a smooth road?
Despite having encountered several challenges along the way, I am beyond grateful to have experienced an opportunity to work with such diversity. Understanding my constant desire for perfectionism – it is quite time consuming to transform a standard photo into a more visually appealing image. Photography has taught me that no matter how many countless videos you may watch, explaining how to achieve a certain look or style, at the end of the day, you just have to get your hands dirty and experiment on your own until you get your desired look. With the love, support, and their willingness to allow me to practice, my friends and family helped build my portfolio until I gained the confidence to work with complete strangers.

As I expanded my hobby into a business that meets the demand of the economy, I began to specialize my work in weddings, portraiture, lifestyle, events, and corporate photography. I take exceptional pride in capturing the little, unforgettable moments from behind the lens, and creating an impact with my work. My company has been known to exceed expectations when it comes to wedding films due to my flexibility and desire for perfectionism.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I feel like Houston is a great place to start a business like mine. Houston is the fourth largest city in the US, the opportunities are endless. If someone was starting out, I would recommend them to practice as much as possible, don’t be afraid to ask questions and learn from others, and meet as many people as possible.
