Today, we’d like to introduce you to Dora Sergeant. Dora was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Stephanie Hobbs.

Dora , can you walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have had a love for numbers as long as I can remember. I took my first accounting course in high school at the suggestion of my counselor an immediately knew this was the career for me. I joke with people all the time. I fell in love with green bar paper (you have to be in the industry and probably old school to understand) lol! I have been in the accounting field for over 25 years and have experience in various industries including government, telecommunications, and not for profit.

Please tell us more about your brand, DMS Financial Consulting LLC.
DMS Financial Consulting is an accounting firm. We offer tax preparation services to individuals and businesses, business set-up, budgeting and forecasting, bookkeeping and accounting, payroll, and notary public services. DMS has the capacity to offer financial services to medium to large-size companies, but our passion is the small business owners. DMS Financial proudly supports the small business owner, they have the largest impact on the communities and the economy; we want to assist those businesses by educating the communities on financial responsibility, spending our dollars in our communities, nurturing small business owners, and taking ownership of their fiscal lives.

So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by Stephanie Hobbs and Style Me Stephanie and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with Style Me Stephanie .
I have worked with Stephanie and Style Me Stephanie on multiple occasions both personal and professional. Stephanie has always been professional when giving her styling advice. Stephanie has listened to my concerns and my needs and addressed both. I had not been unhappy with any services she has provided to me. Most recently, she organized a photoshoot for myself for a magazine cover story that my company was being featured in. Stephanie handled every detail from my hair and makeup to photographer and location as well as several outfit changes and all accessories. I was very pleased with the outcome and have referred her services too many of my associates. I will definitely be using her services for future endeavors.
