Today we’d like to introduce you to Erica Turner.
So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Summer of 2017, I decided to walk in my purpose and started my Family Childcare business, right from home. It’s a true passion of mine to help and care for others. Teaching is my passion and purpose. I was so inspired by walking in my purpose and fulfilling my dreams as a childcare business owner, that I started my Women’s Empowerment Organization this year January of 2019.
The organization focuses on women that are passionate about business, leadership and purpose. This organization helps aide women all across Houston become their best powerful self.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
So far this organization hasn’t faced any challenges.
Please tell us about Black Women Network – Women’s Empowerment Organization.
Our business offers – Entrepreneur mentorship, youth scholarship programs, women empowerment conference, helpful resources for single moms, toy drives and back to school supply drives.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
There so many women interested and inspired by this organization. I’ve been so lucky to have women work next to me with the same vision that I have.
