Meet Forest Myles of Redbird Music Group in Meyerland

Today we’d like to introduce you to Forest Myles.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
As a kid who grew up in Briar Forest, I always had aspirations of being bigger than what society expected. Having a father that played NFL football, my initial passion was the turf. After an injury that would end my football dreams, I turned to music to save me from my downfall. Music in the home was essential and it was at a very early age when I began to associate music and memories. It was through a childhood friend, teammate and freshman year college roommate, that I met “sparring partner” and mentor Tre Rogers. Along with Roger came a self-made businessman Eric Christopher Jackson. Through their mentorship and guidance, I was able to turn my passion into a career. Since we’ve met, I’ve already released my first single, “Calabasas”, and I will be releasing my debut EP “Hottest Summer” June 1st.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
My road has been anything but smooth, but then again, I see the light. I’m witnessing the coalition run its course.

Please tell us about Redbird Music Group.
