I started watching video podcasts in my late 20s/early 30s and noticed that there were not many people of African American decent that had platforms to discuss their interests and ideas. In comparison, I saw countless stories on the news every week regarding African Americans and some type of illegal/unlawful activity or negative stereotype. I simply knew that wasn’t my story, environment, or colleagues testimony. So, out of the lack, we birth The Sphere Podcast Network to take back control of our narrative by delivering riveting content and inspiring dialogue to empower other people’s lives and tell our true stories. Due to the positive response, we begin getting requests from others that needed assistance getting out their dreams and aspirations. We then built The Sphere Podcast Studios to help people achieve just that.
Has it been a smooth road?
Smooth? Never. Rewarding? Always. From mechanical/technical failure to people enveloping the vision, the road along this journey has been nothing but smooth but has time and time again rewarded us with great memories, life lessons, and a bond between hosts that I never could have dreamed.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see the podcast/web series industry becoming the new go-to medium for people to create and deliver content as well as individuals to consume content at their leisure.
