Together our lives are joined, and may we all experience his peace and abundance in the coming days.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I’ve had many struggles along the way to get where I am today. In my career I’ve dealt with major moments of depression because of the passing of my hero and father Pastor Frank Phillips Jr. Many of my struggles included sleepless nights, financial struggles, which produced doubt and anxiety. But I was always taught to never quit and despite my storms that I’ve encountered. I’ve learned to use them as motivation and stepping stones as I climb the latter of success.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am the senior Pastor of the Greater True Vine Church, National gospel recording artist, musician and producer. I’m mostly known for my music and sermons and speeches that have been heard all across the U.S. from coast to coast. In my life I can honestly say what I’m most proud of is the fact that I get to share these moments with my family, children and community. To lead by example and to show them. If God is on your side and his hand is on your life anything is possible. Even beyond your wildest dreams. You just have to trust the process and when it’s your time. Go for it! I believe what sets me apart from others is that God made us all different; but he also gives us the gift that he delivers unto us. So I’m never the one to back down put me in a room with adversity and strain and I’ll adapt and show you how to change from adversity to greatness.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
I truly feel that Covid-19 was sent by God to sit us down and open up our eyes to what’s important. Everyone is always on the go. But let’s be transparent. If it wasn’t for the pandemic we would have never sat down to right out our vision and make it plain. To write that book, to write that song, to simply create from your God given talent. I truly believe that COVID-19 19 put everyone on a level playing feel. It’s just our choice to make it happen.
