Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Coleman.
Hi Jason, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I come from a rough upbringing of poverty and constant instability. I began to suffer from severe depression and almost felt hopeless in life until I decided I wanted to change everything. I started working hard to change my daily habits. I adopted a more positive mindset, I began to hold myself accountable for my reality.
Through consistent strength training and mobility exercise, I started to build self-confidence, which led me to experiment with things like meditation and breathwork. Now I have a healthy connection with who I am, I understand my purpose, and I feel worthy of this life. I truly believe a healthy body and healthy mindset are reciprocal as well as vital to living a happy, fulfilling life.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Childhood poverty, constant instability. Limited resources. Very little community and almost no positivity. Mental illnesses like depression and anxiety. Sleep deprivation from crazy inconsistent work schedules. Lack of funds for proper food and equipment. Personal setbacks and injuries.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have my hands in a few different businesses. By trade, I am a water treatment plant operator making sure the community receives safe and clean water. I am also a personal trainer running a fitness/health media company, a creative consultant for an art studio aswell as a graphic designer/content creator for a local chef. I am most proud of my ability to inspire people around me, if anything sets me apart, it is my willingness to think open-mindedly and my work ethic.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
Anyone and everyone who has fought through their personal darkness and still remains a good human who wants to try and be stronger in different ways, everyday.
