Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Zamora.
Jessica, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Kiki’s Balloons began in 2005 with a simple balloon stuffing machine. Every celebration I would attend, I would wrap a gift inside a balloon. People would love the presentation of the balloon and would ask if I was able to do balloon centerpieces or arches.
Has it been a smooth road?
Like every other business we have had a few struggles here and there. An example is the helium shortage we experienced several years ago which made our helium prices triple in price. This made it hard to keep the same prices on our helium filled designs. However, with creativity we pulled through and were able to offer other air filled options.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Kiki’s Balloons & Things – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Here at Kiki’s Balloons & Things we specialize in unique balloon design ranging from gift deliveries such as balloon bouquets and stuffed balloons to large corporate event decor. We have provided excellent customer service and strive to put our clients first. Unlike others we will not turn an order down for being under budget. We believe that no matter how small or large your event is we are honored to provide any type of balloon design or delivery needed.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Houston is my dream city. I enjoy the diversity and the influences of different cultures which makes it so unique and fun. The least I like about our city is of course the traffic.
