Today we’d like to introduce you to John Pham.
John, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I was raised in Katy Texas and attended Seven Lakes High School, Class of 2010. I pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration in General Business with minors in Management and Entrepreneurship from Sam Houston State University in 2014. After graduating, I went to school to obtain his real estate salesperson license in the State of Texas. Starting real estate in 2014 was one of the best decisions I’ve made and am incredibly thankful for every networking opportunity that has been given to me. I currently hang my license at Tricia Turner Properties in Fulshear Texas. Tricia Turner has been an incredible inspiration thus far in my real estate career.
Aside from real estate, I am the Business Manager for Typhoon Texas Waterpark. I began my career at Typhoon Texas as the operations manager in 2015 overseeing operations in the water safety department and front gate department. I truly enjoyed every moment and was given a great opportunity to be in the role I am in today! As the Business Manager, I oversee many things including risk management, insurance, front gate admissions, partnership and sponsorships. I am incredibly thankful for the leadership given to me by Evan Barnett and Ty Weitzel whom shaped me to become the successful person I am today in the waterpark industry. Being able to work and lead by example to our team members is an honor and love seeing growth in our youth here in Katy!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There’s always obstacles and challenges in everything I do, nothing is ever smooth. I’ve always found that anything worth achieving will always have obstacles in the way and you’ve got to have that drive and determination to overcome those obstacles on route to whatever it is that you want to accomplish. I was once told that I am a bulldog at everything I do. Bulldog not meaning aggressive but more of myself and very straight forward and clear of what my ultimate goal is. I learned sometimes you have to take a shot at the things you love to either fail or succeed. Be WHO YOU ARE!
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Typhoon Texas and Tricia Turner Properties – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
