Meet Jordan Lambert

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Lambert.

Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
My creativity flows through me in many ways as an artist, dancer, performer, model and actress. Dancing and art have always been a passion of mine sense I was a wee-one but, recently that has translated into modeling and acting. My bold creativity over flowed into the entertainment world about two years ago when I choose to seek out creative photographers to collaborate with. The still images reminded me of another form of painting with emotion and this lead me to want to use my dancing and outgoing personality to make videos. Thus, I started down my path of constant creation and wonder. When I can strike an emotion in someone with my various artistic outlets, that makes everything worth it. I enjoy the stories told and the process it takes to make a moving picture or still frame. My happy place is probably dancing in front of the camera playing with a flowy dress or glitter in my own world. Always excited to see where my art will take me next, it feels like I’m living my dreams.

Please tell us about your art.
My artwork consists of big canvas abstract acrylic paint, animals and landscapes catch my eye most of the time. Using vibrant colors and my own twist with other mediums to create 3D artistic pieces, I paint because I enjoy it. I have come to love the light it brings to someone’s eyes when they look at my art, how it makes them smile. I believe this also goes for my dancing, modeling and acting as well. Creating an environment where someone is enjoying themselves and participating in the art with me is my goal. I want to show love and light that I find in this world, even in the dark corners of this world you can find inspiration and wisdom. Bringing these golden nuggets to the public is fulfilling for me, showing someone that life if wondrous in all aspects. This is why I enjoy so many platforms of creativity because, even when the same inspiration is being used, it never turns out the same.

What do you think about conditions for artists today? Has life become easier or harder for artists in recent years? What can cities like ours do to encourage and help art and artists thrive?
The conditions for creatives today really depend on the artists view. There is so much inspiration and controversy in the world today that I believe you can pull from these sources and make a statement or light from any situation. In the past recent years, I believe it has become easier for artist to show their hearts and work, like Houston, cities are starting to paint buildings and have street art more abundant. This makes for so much love and beauty to be passed from person to person. Cities can continue to grow their local art by continuing to support artist and creatives with their work. By making it a focal point in town square or having events to showcase plays or stand up! it’s an escape from everyday life or issues, I view art as healing the soul so, the more art we create the more we share the love.

How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
Still in the process of reaching more people, I have multiple social platforms for all my creations. You can find me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube for all my modeling, art, dancing and acting. My paintings go by “Lambert Designs” on Facebook and Instagram and my You Tube channel has dancing videos to just me being silly and explaining things I go through in my career. I wouldn’t be anywhere without the support of my family and peers, just by encouraging me, sharing my work and helping me make connections is the best support I could ask for. So please feel free to check out and reach out to me about anything. I appreciate when people share my creativity with others or ask me to collaborate with them!
