Today we’d like to introduce you to Joshua Erickson.
Joshua, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I began my career in Accounting working for a large Medical and Dental Provider. It was there I knew one day I would launch a company that provided medical billing and physicians services. After years of Executive level Accounting I decided to launch Progressus Revenue and help Physician’s like I first envisioned. Physicians are unfortunately having a harder time than ever pursuing and/or maintaining a career in private practice. I started Progressus Revenue to provide Physicians with a replacement for the subpar service(s) they are used to receiving. We believe the education and drive our staff brings to the plate is what separates us from the other companies in our space.
Has it been a smooth road?
I’ve never been scared to work an 18 hour day. In working for a fortune 500 publicly traded holdings firm I became accustomed to long days. I’m very meticulous when it comes to my work, and I like to present perfection. With that being said I never really assess the ‘road’, but rather the results of my efforts and their direct impact on increasing net revenue. For the sake of answering the question the hardest part was arriving at a company name!

Our mission is to be the most customer-centric Medical Billing and Physician Services Provider, where Healthcare Providers and Medical Practice Owners can find all-encompassing practice specific solutions with superior quality at cost efficient prices.
We specialize in accounting, auditing, billing, coding, credentialing, marketing, EHR/PM functionality, we also provide a lot of training for medical staff. We train staff from A-Z, we even train providers. We have helped some great Physicians capitalize not only related to revenue, but also clinically as well. Regulatory metrics differ from payor to payor, and it’s important to have a partner like Progressus to ensure Physicians are capturing these metrics.
We are proud of everything we do, so it’s hard to identify what we are most proud of. If I had to choose one thing it would be the Provider/Practice Owners face, and the friendship we solidify, when we have turned their life around. Taking a practice that is hemorrhaging money, struggling to keep the doors open, and making them a very lucrative practice is what we are most proud of. Our goal is to improve our clients’ operational and financial lives so profoundly they couldn’t imagine going back to the old way.
