We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road to success is always under construction with new bumps, sharp turns and speed traps. Lol. You just have to keep the wheels moving forward. There is no guarantee that it’ll be easy, just know the reward at the end is worth it. The biggest struggle for most actors is the wait and the unknown. The wait of hearing if you did or did not land the job and the unknown of what the powers that be are thinking while viewing your work.

The biggest struggle for me as an actor is having the patience of knowing what is for is for me. Sometimes that groundbreaking role can seem so close but yet so far away. So I’m constantly working on myself to be more patient. Before this is all said and done, I’ll be able to the Karate Kid kick. Lol. I’ll have just that much patience.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I always tell people luck is for leprechauns and people who win the lottery. It always boils down to your dedication and perseverance towards the work. My drive and commitment to success has brought me a long way.

The willingness to never give up and to continue to build and grow as an artist is what keeps me afloat. Given my years of commitment to the craft would do me a disservice to attribute any of my life’s work up to this point to “luck.”
