Leticia, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started small by doing card readings and fixing candles for loved ones for a couple of years. Then in 2018, I started my business. Initially, I wanted to do this on the side but with motivation and inspiration from my Family and Friends, I went ahead and made it official.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
At first, it was hard but I wanted to see what would happen if I didn’t give up, and I’m glad everyday I didn’t. I have had so much support from my family and friends and that alone makes the struggles worth it, knowing that they believe in me makes me love what I do. It’s my passion. My Parents, Husband, Grandmother Nana and Aunt Patty have been amazing inspirations for me. With the support of family anything is possible.
Please tell us about Sunflower Blessings.
I am a new age physic/ curandera. My business Sunflower Blessings provides card readings, incense and custom oils — e.g., joint pains, headaches, etc. Fixed candles. I offer blessings and cleanings to balance and rebuild chakras. I specialize in House blessings. I love to talk and walk my clients through what I’m doing. What sets me apart from others is that I treat my clients as if they were my family.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I really don’t know, everyday I learn something new.
