Today we’d like to introduce you to Matthew Reid.
Matthew, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Natural Houstonian from the Atascocita area. Migrated downtown about 7 years ago. Have been making music and performing for a while. On the side, a passion/hobby is art. I’ve wanted to open a shop showcasing my style of drawing for a while and I’m proud to finally accomplish that.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No. The struggles have been necessary as they’ve led to a gameplan that better suits who I currently am as a person.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My work would be in music. That’s what most people associate with me. Outside of that, it’s defiantly in sketching. I’ve been doodling here and there casually but recently, it’s amplified to a structured showcase standpoint.
