Na’Imah, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
This business started after spending hundreds of dollars on hair extensions from different well known companies and never being satisfied. I remember sitting on my laptop December 18th, 2018 for 16 hours straight, brainstorming and building a website just to see my vision right in front of me. After that, I spent some time doing research to find quality product. It was just days after my college graduation where I used the money that was gifted to me to invest in product. From that day, Brazilian Bundle Me was built from the ground up. To this day, at 23 years old I have exceeded my own expectations as a Business owner. This has become more than selling a product. I realized that as a young black business owner I am beating the odds in the world we live in. I have the opportunity to make other women feel beautiful and empowered which is the most important feeling to me.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
While starting up Brazilian Bundle Me I worked two very demanding jobs. One job was during the day and the other was overnight. While working both jobs I also worked vigorously on launching Brazilian Bundle Me. It was a challenge to juggle all three so I resigned from my night job. Even after letting one job go that still didn’t seem to give me enough time to work on business matters. There were several times where my boss caught me using my work computer to edit things on my website & fill orders. The most interesting part is that my day job was a foot in the door for the career I always wanted. However, I knew my vision shifted when I got tired of sneaking to work on my business while at work. One Friday, I took a leap of faith and decided to quit my job. Immediately after I was in deep regret but I continued to work on my business. I remember using my last check to invest in my business instead of paying bills. One day sales begin to pick up and has continued to increase since then. Now, I am blessed to say I earn more money working for myself than working both of the jobs.

The quality of the hair is what keeps people coming back to try different textures. It is no secret that people who shop here at Brazilian Bundle Me get their money’s worth. Although Brazilian Bundle Me is solely social media based, our website and active Instagram account provides a different experience for clientele. With our soft pink colors scheme and our Newley created slogan “pretty girls love it here”, gives a cute and fun vibe.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Often times people will ask “what’s next” or other questions in regards to future plans.I usually do not respond with a specific answer just because I was taught to keep your next move silent. It is important to protect your ideas and to have things done before sharing future plans. The most I will say is stay tuned.
